Based within 25 minutes of the Brisbane CBD, our client is currently seeking an experienced OHS Officer for the civil projects within their operations.
Reporting to the Principle Safety Specialist you will be responsible for facilitating all aspects of the projects OH&S functionally.
You will provide technical advice, assistance and support to projects leaders and contractors on all Occupational Health and Safety requirements on site.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Implementation for the HSE system and site training scheme,
Planning, monitoring site performance,
Effectiveness of the implementation and application of OHS systems on site and provide advice possible improvements,
Risk assessment facilitation and preparation of a risk register for the project
Monitor and review risk management activities to ensure effectiveness and prioritisation of actions
